WELCOME TO THE BRAZILIAN CONSULATE GENERAL IN HAMAMATSU

The Brazilian Consulate General in Hamamatsu is a branch of the Brazilian Government. It is part of the consular network of the Ministry of External Relations. Its main purpose is to give advice, assistance and information to Brazilian citizens within the limits of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, the Brazilian law and the current law in Japan.

 

JURISDICTION AND ADDRESS
The Consulate-General’s jurisdiction covers the Shizuoka Prefecture; it basically assists the Brazilian residents in the aforementioned Prefecture. Its address is as follows:

  • CONSULAR SERVICES

The Consulate General is open to the public from Monday to Friday:

1. from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM, for the consular services made available, in accordance with the calendar

    presented in our website www.consbrashamamatsu.jp ;  to this end, there will be distribution of

    tickets from 09:00 to 11:00 AM;

 

2. Collection of processed documents: varies according to each service, so please check in attendance.

 

3. Visas will be issued on Monday and Tuesday, from 01:00 to 03:00 PM.

 

    The Consulate will be closed over the weekend, on Japanese public holidays and on September 7th,

    the Brazilian National Day.

 

  • HOW TO GET TO THE CONSULATE GENERAL

The Consulate General is located in a building on the corner in front of Hamamatsu City Hall.  You can take any bus departing from the Bus Station, in front of the Shinkansen Railway Station, bound for the City Hall - Shiyakusho – and alight at the “Shiyakusho mae" bus stop. Coming by taxi, just mention to the driver the Motoshiro-cho Kyodo Building in front of the City Hall.
